When times are tough and pressure begins to mount, it’s important to remember those who dedicate their time and effort into helping others and those in need. Here’s to you, through the long shifts, the many coffees, the early morning and the late nights, you’re always there to help and no thank you will ever seem enough for the amazing work that you and the rest of those working in healthcare, in all roles, do to help those who need it most.
There’s thousands of staff working tirelessly day in, day out to provide care for those in need, from administration staff, porters, domestics, assistants and catering staff to doctors, nurses, cleaners and countless other roles who contribute so much. Everyone has a story and to help spread the amazing work that ALL staff play, we’re celebrating with some of your own stories.
Have a story of your own? Let us know in the comments and help us celebrate the amazing work that everybody does for one another!
This is my mum. 53 years continued service for the #nhs. Senior sister in A and E and now at cottage hospital. As I know all too well, Mum doesn’t suffer fools gladly. I know how she reacts to a bad school report, so heaven knows what she’ll do if you’re not #SocialDistancing. pic.twitter.com/NUmGv0wMxK

I have used hundreds of filters to make myself look presentable. I’m tired. I’m grumpy. I’m disappointed in humanity’s inability to stay inside. I’m worried. I’m beardless. But above all that… I’m so proud to work for #NHS. #COVIDー19 #StayAtHome pic.twitter.com/0NMBrKfJws
