- [Entry p1] The ‘Health Service Discount Biggest Saver’ competition (The ‘competition’) is open to Health Service Discounts (‘HSD’) members who provide their email address and complete the survey (Survey Link)
- [Entry p2] Only one entry per member is aloud and no purchase is necessary to enter.
- [Closing Date] The competition closes on Friday, July 31st, 2015 at 23:59, entry after this date will not be accepted.
- [T&C Acceptance] Completion of the survey indicates full acceptance of these terms and conditions
- [Prize] HSD will match the savings the winning member made over the past 12 months (July 2014 to June 2015) to the maximum value of £500
- [Payment] This is a cash prize payable by cheque or Bank Transfer
- [Awarding of Prize] Only one winner member will be awarded the prize, with the winning member being the one of has saved the most.
- [Tie Breaker] In the event two or more members have made an equally winning saving over the past 12 months, the HSD team will award the prize based upon our judgement of the best tie breaker answer.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for other prizes.
- [Proof of Savings Made] The prize will only be awarded upon our internal validation of claimed savings and we reserve the right to request proof of discounts you made.
- [Right to Refuse] HSD reserve the right to refuse the awarding of the competition prize should we see fit in the event of false or fraudulent entries or breaking of the competition terms and conditions.
- [Notification of Winner] The winning member will be notified by email on or before 08/08/2015. If a winner does not respond to HSD within 14 days of being notified by HSD, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and HSD shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and HSD shall be entitled to select another winner.
- [Liability p1] HSD accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. HSD further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition .Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of HSD for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
- [Liability p2] HSD reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of HSD in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- [Liability p3] HSD shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
- The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the Competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
- [Promotion of Winner/Entry Data] Health Service Discounts reserve the right to use the data collected about your savings to promote our service to new and existing members, this includes and extends to all tie breaker question answers and the competition participant’s name.
